The Province of Ontario has held a selection process for professionals in the working professions

More than 2,500 people received invitations.

On January 11, the province of Ontario held its second immigration draw in a week, but this time specifically for members of the working professions. Invitations were sent to 2,552 applicants at once!

All successful applicants scored between 350 and 424 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System. In addition, applicants needed to have work experience in one of the eligible occupations:

The Skilled Trades stream is for candidates with a profile in the Express Entry system who meet the requirements of one of the federal immigration programs:

The previous draw for this category of candidates was held on August 3, with the minimum score increasing by as much as 100 points since then.

In the Comprehensive Ranking System, points are awarded for age, language skills, education, work experience and similar factors
