Another recent Manitoba selection

Another recent Manitoba selection

Specially for Ukrainians.

December 28 Manitoba held its last general selection, and on December 29, the final draw for Ukrainian nationals of the year took place. A total of 89 invitations were sent today as part of the special stream.

Applicants had to meet the following criteria:

  • to be a citizen of Ukraine;
  • pass a language test with a CLB score of 4 or higher;
  • have a connection to Manitoba (references from the community, relatives, previous work or study in the province);
  • have a valid language test;
  • to score at least 60 points;
  • satisfy all other requirements of the Skilled Worker Overseas pathway, including enough money to relocate.

The selection for the Ukrainians was held for the 21st time. Manitoba consistently holds them once every 1-2 months. The previous time invitations to Ukrainian citizens were sent quite recently, December 4.

Separately, the provincial Ministry of Immigration draws applicants' attention to the fact that CUAET holders who have been working in Manitoba for at least six months in any occupation are eligible to apply under the stream for Skilled Workers in Manitoba. The province regularly conducts immigration draws for such applicants.

We will continue to follow the history of the Manitoba selections to keep you up to date with the latest information on passing grades and the number of invitations sent out.
