New targeted draw from British Columbia

The province sent invitations to in-demand specialists.

On January 10, the province of British Columbia held a draw under the provincial immigration program. This time, high-demand professionals were selected. A total of 150 invitations were sent.

This drawing included skilled workers and international graduates of Canadian universities with the following occupations:

Tech Stream participants needed to score a minimum of 90 points, and everyone else needed to score 60 points. The province awards points for education, language skills, work experience, employer location, and wage offered. All candidates must have a job offer in British Columbia.

The previous target draw for technicians was on December 20 and for other professions was on January 4. The passing scores for all remained unchanged.
