Immigration draws
On August 16, British Columbia held another draw in two categories: general and targeted. Invitations were received by 177 specialists, international graduates, as well as representatives of in-demand professions. As usual, they were childhood educators, doctors, orderlies, and veterinarians.
30 entrepreneurs were invited to the province of Ontario under the provincial immigration program. Compared to the previous draws, the passing scores have decreased.
On August 17, the fourth Express Entry draw after the pandemic took place. Over 2,000 invitations were sent out to candidates in all immigration programs. The passing score continues to decrease every time.
On August 18, the province of Saskatchewan invited managers, builders, and medical professionals in a new draw. In total, 252 candidates in the Occupations in Demand stream and 416 people in the Express Entry stream received invitations in the targeted draw.
