Immigration screening in Manitoba on May 5
The province invited more than 300 people.
On May 5, 2022, Manitoba sent out invitations to apply for a provincial nomination. Candidates in three streams were selected:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba — 249 invitations, minimum score 651.
- Skilled Workers Overseas — 34 invitations, minimum score 691.
- Manitoba graduates (International Education) — 32 invitations.
Forty-eight of the 315 candidates who received invitations were also registered in Express Entry. The Skilled Workers Overseas stream this time selected only candidates whose professional skills were needed by the province.
The previous drawing was April 21, 2022. The passing score was higher then: 707 for Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream candidates, 708 for Skilled Workers Overseas stream participants.
