Manitoba help a new immigration draw
Passing scores have dropped significantly.
On April 7, Manitoba held an immigration draw in the provincial program. 223 candidates received invitations to apply for a provincial nomination.
Invitations and minimum points in the "Expression of Interest" system were distributed as follows:
- skilled professionals in Manitoba — 156 invitations, passing score 739;
- Skilled professionals abroad — 33 invitations, passing score 683;
- international educational stream — 34 invitations, no passing grades required.
Of all the invited candidates, 30 were registered in the federal Express Entry system.
The previous draw in Manitoba was on March 24. In the new selection, passing scores have decreased in all categories, and the number of invitations has increased.
Keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations to increase your chances of a nomination from Manitoba.
