BC delighted candidates with new selection
The province has invited skilled professionals, workers and graduates from Canadian universities.
On December 7, British Columbia issued 318 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination. The selection was made through the provincial immigration program.
267 candidates were selected in the streams for skilled workers, Canadian graduates and lower and middle-skilled professionals. The minimum passing scores were distributed as follows:
- skilled workers — 97;
- Canadian graduates — 83;
- low and medium skilled workers — 71;
- skilled workers with selection through Express Entry — 100;
- Canadian graduates with selection through Express Entry — 86.
Passing scores were up from previous selection, which was held on November 23.
B.C. made a separate selection for candidates with the following occupations:
Specialists in these fields received 51 invitations. The minimum passing score for all categories was 103. Compared to the previous selection, it has not changed.
