The long-awaited raffle from Prince Edward Island
In the new immigration selection, the province has lowered the passing scores.
On November 18, 188 candidates received invitations to apply for nomination from the province of Prince Edward Island. Selection was through the provincial immigration program for professionals and entrepreneurs.
As part of the drawing, 16 invitations were received by candidates from the entrepreneurial stream who scored at least 67 points. The passing score decreased by 5 points compared to the previous selection, which took place on October 21.
A further 172 invitations were distributed between the two streams:
- candidates registered with Express Entry;
- candidates with the skills and experience needed in the provincial labour market — this stream includes three streams:
- qualified professionals;
- intermediate and low skilled workers;
- graduates Prince Edward Island.
The province did not provide a breakdown of the number of candidates invited between all streams, nor the minimum score required for each category.
To increase your chances of receiving an invitation to apply for a nomination, we recommend keeping an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
