Manitoba invited professionals to get a permanent residence permit
The province has shared the results of a new immigration draw.
On November 18, 428 candidates were invited to apply for nominations from the province of Manitoba. The selection process was based on Manitoba's immigration program among qualified individuals who are already in the province, qualified individuals from overseas and Manitoba graduates.
Invitations and passing grades in the "Expression of Interest" system were distributed as follows:
- skilled professionals in Manitoba — 376 invitations, minimum score 464;
- skilled professionals abroad — 22 invitations, minimum score 726;
- international educational stream — 30 invitations, no points required.
68 invitations out of 428 were sent to candidates with an active profile in the Express Entry system.
Compared to previous drawing, which was held on November 1, the passing scores have increased.
