B.C. holds another major selection
The number of candidates invited by the province for 2021 is already over 10,000.
On October 9, British Columbia sent 340 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination. The selection was made through the provincial immigration program.
287 candidates were selected in streams for skilled workers, Canadian graduates and low— and mid-skilled professionals. The minimum passing scores were distributed as follows:
- skilled workers — 93;
- Canadian graduates — 80;
- low and medium skilled workers — 69;
- skilled workers with selection through Express Entry — 94;
- Canadian graduates with selection through Express Entry — 80.
Passing scores were up slightly from the previous selection, which took place on October 26.
B.C. made a separate selection for candidates with the following occupations:
Specialists in these fields received 53 invitations, and the minimum passing score for all categories was 104. The passing score for managers did not change.
