Prince Edward Island held a major immigration hoax
This is the second largest selection for 2021.
On October 21, 204 candidates received invitations to apply for nominations from the province of Prince Edward Island. Selection was through the provincial immigration program for professionals and entrepreneurs.
Within the framework of the drawing 9 invitations were received by the candidates of the entrepreneurial stream, who scored at least 72 points. The passing score did not change compared to previous selection, which took place on 16 September.
Another 195 invitations were distributed between the two streams:
- candidates registered with Express Entry;
- candidates with the skills and experience needed in the provincial labour market — this stream includes three streams:
- qualified professionals;
- intermediate and low skilled workers;
- graduates Prince Edward Island.
The province did not provide a breakdown of the number of candidates invited between all streams, nor the minimum score required for each category.
