Manitoba held a major immigration raffle
Passing grades are down and significantly more candidates are invited than usual.
On September 2, 602 candidates received invitations to apply for nomination from the province of Manitoba. The selection process was based on Manitoba's immigration program among qualified individuals who are already in the province, qualified individuals from overseas and Manitoba university graduates.
Invitations and passing grades in the "Expression of Interest" system were distributed as follows:
- skilled professionals in Manitoba — 463 invitations, minimum score 445;
- skilled professionals abroad — 84 invitations, minimum score 698;
- international educational stream — 55 invitations, no points required.
Compared to previous draw, which was held on August 12, the passing scores in the new selection have dropped significantly.
Keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations to increase your chances of receiving a nomination from the Province of Manitoba.
