Large-scale raffle from British Columbia
The province pleased more candidates than usual.
On August 17, B.C.'s immigration program sent 427 invitations to apply for a nomination from the province.
363 candidates were selected in streams for skilled workers, Canadian graduates, and low— and intermediate-skilled professionals. The minimum passing scores were distributed as follows:
- skilled workers — 91;
- Canadian graduates — 78;
- low and medium skilled workers — 73;
- skilled workers with selection through Express Entry — 88;
- Canadian graduates with selection through Express Entry — 76.
B.C. made a separate selection for candidates with the following occupations:
Professionals in these fields received 64 invitations, the minimum passing score for all categories was 106.
Passing scores in the last draw were down slightly from the previous selection, which took place on August 3.
