British Columbia has invited hundreds of candidates to immigrate
The province has once again conducted a massive immigration screening.
On July 6, B.C.'s immigration program sent 387 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination.
342 candidates were selected in streams for skilled workers, Canadian graduates, and low— and intermediate-skilled professionals. The minimum passing scores were distributed as follows:
- skilled workers — 92;
- Canadian graduates — 83;
- low and medium skilled workers — 75;
- skilled workers with selection through Express Entry — 91;
- Canadian graduates with selection through Express Entry — 82.
B.C. made a separate selection for candidates with the following occupations:
Professionals in these fields received 45 invitations, the minimum passing score for all categories was 108.
Passing scores in the last draw were down slightly compared to the previous selection, which took place on June 22.
