British Columbia invites more candidates
Passing scores decrease from selection to selection.
On June 22, British Columbia's immigration program sent out 395 invitations to apply for a nomination from the province.
341 candidates were selected in streams for skilled workers, Canadian graduates and low— and mid-skilled professionals.
The minimum passing grades are distributed as follows:
- skilled workers — 93;
- Canadian graduates — 85;
- low and medium skilled workers — 75;
- skilled workers who go through one of the federal programs through Express Entry are 92;
- Canadian graduates who go through one of the federal programs through Express Entry are 85.
B.C. made a separate selection for candidates with the following occupations:
Professionals in these fields received 54 invitations, the minimum passing score for all categories was 109.
Passing scores in the last draw were down slightly compared to the previous selection, which took place on June 8.
