Manitoba invited low-scoring candidates
Passing scores in the recent selections have declined across all streams.
On May 6, 150 candidates received invitations to apply for nomination from the province of Manitoba.
Selection was made by Manitoba's immigration program among qualified professionals who are already in Manitoba, qualified professionals from abroad and Manitoba graduates.
The invitations, also known as letters of recommendation of application, together with the relevant requirements for the "Expression of Interest" (EOI) assessment were allocated as follows:
- skilled professionals in Manitoba — 108 invitations, minimum score 400;
- skilled professionals abroad — 29 invitations, minimum score 703;
- international educational stream — 13 invitations, EOI points are not required.
Passing scores in the streams are down from previous selection, which was held on April 26.
Keep an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations to increase your chances of immigration.
