B.C. announces results of immigration raffle
Hundreds of people received invitations to immigrate to the province.
On April 13, B.C. invited 441 candidates to apply for the provincial nomination.
In the past selection process, 420 invitations were sent to qualified workers, graduates of Canadian universities, and low— and medium-skilled professionals.
The minimum passing grades are distributed as follows:
- skilled workers in stream for professionals in various fields — 95;
- Canadian graduates in the stream for professionals in various fields are 95;
- lower and Intermediate Professionals in the stream for specialists in various fields — 79;
- skilled workers in stream for those in one of the federal programs is 95;
- Canadian graduates in the stream for those in one of the federal programs are 95.
British Columbia made special selections for the following categories:
Professionals in these fields received only 21 invitations, with a minimum passing score of 113.
