Manitoba has had two selections in a row

One of the draws took place among candidates from Ukraine.

The Province of Manitoba has held two draws in a row. The first was held on Sept. 28 to select Skilled Workers Overseas. A total of 1,072 invitations were sent, 504 of which were sent to candidates registered in the Express Entry system.

The minimum score for this round was 605, significantly lower than the previous such draw September 23 — by 118 points.

This time, candidates who indicated they are working in a regulated occupation and are fully licensed to work in Manitoba were selected. It did not consider candidates who applied under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative, took a third-party language test and did not provide a valid test number on their Expressions of Interest (EOI).

The second selection was held specifically for Ukrainians who applied under the provincial program — and this is the 18th such draw.
