The September selection of Prince Edward Island has taken place
Qualified professionals and entrepreneurs were invited.
Prince Edward Island has released information on the September round of selections for its provincial immigration program. A total of 157 invitations were sent out on Sept. 21.
4 of them were awarded to entrepreneurs who scored at least 80 points. The minimum score was again significantly reduced compared to the previous such selection, which took place on August 17.
The remaining 153 invitations were distributed among the following categories:
- PEI Express Entry;
- Labour Impact:
This time, critical workers needed to score 55 points or more on the provincial scoring system and have an invitation from an employer in Prince Edward Island.
The previous selection was held August 31, in which only candidates with professions in the fields of healthcare, manufacturing, construction and food processing were considered. And specialists with any professions, as well as entrepreneurs, were invited for the last time August 17.
