Prince Edward Island held a draw under new rules
It's never happened before.
On July 20, Prince Edward Island held a draw for candidates of its provincial immigration program.
The draw was intended for workers of various qualifications and entrepreneurs. A total of 106 invitations were sent.
9 invitations were given to entrepreneurs who scored a minimum of 80 points in the evaluation system.
97 invitations were received by the following applicants:
- PEI Express Entry;
- Labour Impact:
The peculiarity of this selection was that critical workers were invited only if they scored 50 points or more in the Prince Edward Island assessment system. Normally there are no passing scores for professionals, unlike entrepreneurs. The previous Prince Edward Island immigration draw was held on June 29.
