Results of British Columbia's immigration draw on July 5
Who received an invitation?
On July 5, British Columbia invited 137 people to immigrate. These were skilled workers and international graduates, including those who were registered in the Express Entry system.
In this drawing, invitations were distributed among candidates with in-demand professions:
- tech workers — 97 invitations;
- early childhood educators and assistants — 23 invitations;
- healthcare professionals — 17 invitations.
Technicians needed to score 90 points on the provincial scoring system, while other candidates needed 60 points. British Columbia assigns points for education, language skills, work experience, employer location, and salary.
The previous selection for in-demand specialists was held on June 20, the passing scores were the same. On June 27, the general draw was held for candidates of all professions.
