A little more than 10 people were selected.

On February 28, the province of British Columbia held an immigration drawing for entrepreneurs under the provincial immigration program. A total of 12 candidates were invited.

7 invitations went to entrepreneurs in the Base Category, who needed to score a minimum of 116 points. Participants of this stream also need to have experience in business management, have a capital of more than CAN$ 600,000 and be willing to invest in the company from CAN$ 200,000.

Less than 5 invitations were sent to entrepreneurs of the Regional Pilot, which is designed for business people who want to do business in small towns. They also need to have business management experience, capital of CAN$ 300,000 and be willing to invest CAN$ 100,000 or more in a business. The minimum passing score was 112.

On February 28, in conjunction with the draw for entrepreneurs, British Columbia held a drawing for workers and graduates.
