British Columbia issued immigration invitations

One category of candidates did not participate this time.

On January 7, British Columbia held a new draw under the provincial immigration program. A total of 245 people received invitations.

The province selected 207 candidates in the general drawing, which was held for the following streams:

The previous general draw was held on January 24. Passing scores have not changed. B.C. awards points for education, language skills, work experience, employer location, and wage offered. All candidates must have a job offer in the province.

38 others received invitations in a targeted drawing for certain occupations. They had to score a minimum of 60 points:

Previously the target draw was on January 31, the minimum scores remained unchanged. Usually, B.C. also invites veterinarians and veterinary technicians, but they did not participate in the new drawing.
