Saskatchewan had a small immigration draw
Few invitations were sent this time.
On November 8, Saskatchewan held draws under the provincial immigration program. Very few invitations were sent this time — only 35. The previous drawing had more than 1,000 invitations.
This time 4 invitations were sent to citizens of Ukraine, who scored at least 64 points. The previous draw for Ukrainians took place on July 21, and the passing score was 4 points lower.
Another 31 invitations were distributed between the two streams:
- Saskatchewan Express Entry — 10 invitations;
- Occupation In-Demand — 21 invitations.
The passing score in both categories was 69. This is significantly lower than the previous draw on October 28. Candidates in these streams also had to have one of the in-demand occupations:
- chiropractors;
- occupational therapists;
- medical radiation technologists;
- medical sonographers;
- paramedics;
- psychologists.
Keep an eye on Saskatchewan's draw history to increase your chances of being invited.
