Nova Scotia held a draw after almost a year

Entrepreneurs received invitations.

On November 1, Nova Scotia held an immigration drawing under the provincial immigration program. 12 candidates received invitations in two streams: for entrepreneurs and Nova Scotia graduates who own businesses in the province.

6 invitations were sent to entrepreneurs who scored at least 128 points on the Expression of Interest system. Another 6 candidates were selected among graduate entrepreneurs who scored a minimum of 47 points.

The previous drawing for both categories was on December 22, 2021 — 11 months ago. In the new draw, the passing score for entrepreneurs went up, while the passing score for graduate entrepreneurs went down.

Applicants must have business management experience to apply. Candidates are also evaluated on factors such as education, language skills, age, length of management experience, and other criteria.

To increase your chances of receiving an invitation from Nova Scotia, keep an eye on the history of passing scores and the number of invitations.
