Saskatchewan invited in-demand specialists from various fields
The province held a major draw.
On September 28, Saskatchewan held a draw under the provincial immigration program. There were 1,146 skilled workers who received invitations:
- Saskatchewan Express Entry — 639 invitations, a passing score of 83;
- Occupation In-Demand — 507 invitations, a passing score of 81.
This time, candidates with the following occupations received invitations:

- senior managers in health care, education, social and community services;
- senior managers in construction, transportation, manufacturing, and utilities;
- financial managers;
- human resources managers;
- purchasing managers;
- managers of banks and credit institutions;
- managers of other business services;
- architecture and science managers;
- administrators in higher education and training;
- managers in social, community, and correctional services;
- managers in transportation;
- financial and investment analysts;
- supervisors, office and administrative workers;
- medical administrative assistants;
- chemists;
- information systems analysts and consultants;
- database analysts and data administrators;
- chemical technologists;
- civil engineering technologists and technicians;
- geomatics and meteorologists;
- university professors;
- economists;
- paralegals;
- specialists in wholesale sales;
- supervisors in services;
- agricultural contractors;
- food and beverage processing managers;
- energy engineers and power system operators and other specialists.

Compared to the previous drawing, which took place on September 15, the passing scores in the new draw have increased significantly.
