Province of Ontario invited professionals with a lowered score

The passing score dropped by more than 100 points.

On September 23, the province of Ontario held a new draw under the provincial immigration program. This time, candidates with certain occupations from the French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream were selected.

Participants in this stream must have an Express Entry profile and be proficient in both English and French.

This time, 363 people who scored 326 points or more on the Comprehensive Ranking System and had experience in one of the following occupations received invitations:

The previous drawing for francophones in Ontario was on June 21. The passing score was 440, considerably higher than in the new draw on September 23, and the list of occupations was shorter.
