The province of Ontario held a draw for businesspersons
Passing scores have been reduced.
On August 16, the province of Ontario sent 30 invitations to candidates in the provincial immigration program. This time, participants in the Entrepreneur Stream were lucky.
Selected applicants scored between 138 and 160 points on the Expression of Interest scoring system. The previous draw for entrepreneurs was on July 15. This time, the passing scores were lowered.
The Ontario Entrepreneur Stream is designed to attract business people who have a net worth of $400,000 CAD or more and want to start or buy a business in the province.
