Ontario Immigration Screening
We invited specialists of working professions.
On July 14, 2022, the province of Ontario selected 755 people who registered in the Express Entry system no earlier than July 14, 2021 and who fit the flow requirements for worker professionals with provincial experience.
The candidates had to:
- meet the criteria of the federal immigration program for skilled professionals or for professionals with work experience in Canada;
- score a minimum of 310 points on the Comprehensive Ranking System;
- Have worked in Ontario in one of the eligible occupations for at least one year in the past two years;
- live in Ontario at the time of application.
In this drawing, the following professions received invitations:
- contractors and supervisors in metalworking and related professions;
- contractors and supervisors in the field of electrical engineering and telecommunications;
- Pipeline contractors and supervisors;
- contractors and supervisors in the carpentry field;
- contractors and supervisors in other construction work: installation, repair and maintenance;
- tool and die makers;
- workers with sheet metal;
- boiler manufacturers;
- fabricators and installers of steel structures;
- metallists;
- welders and machine operators;
- electrical systems (excluding industrial and power systems);
- industrial electricians;
- employees of power lines and cables;
- employees of telecommunication lines and cable networks;
- plumbing;
- Installers of steam fittings, installers of pipelines and sprinkler systems;
- carpenters;
- bricklayers;
- concrete workers;
- tilers;
- plasterers, plasterboard installers and finishers, installers working with assembly foam;
- roofers and master installers;
- glaziers;
- insulators;
- Painters and painters (excluding interior decorators);
- Mechanical contractors and supervisors;
- contractors and supervisors of heavy-duty special equipment operators;
- supervisors in print and related industries;
- supervisors of trucking service drivers and other ground transport drivers;
- construction installers and industrial mechanics;
- mechanics of heavy-duty equipment;
- mechanics for heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems;
- inspectors-repairmen of railway cars;
- aircraft mechanics and aircraft inspectors;
- elevator designers and mechanics;
- mechanics to repair cars, trucks and buses, repair mechanics;
- electromechanics;
- mechanics of motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles, as well as mechanics of related specializations;
- crane operators;
- contractors and supervisors in landscaping, grounds maintenance and horticulture.
