Immigration selections in Saskatchewan

On July 6 and 7, the province held raffles for professionals and business people.

A record number of invitations this year! On July 6, 2022, Saskatchewan called for nominations from the province foreign qualified professionals:

  • 5 candidates from Ukraine (the passing score was 61);
  • 398 candidates with the province's desired profession and proof of education (a passing score of 73);
  • 279 candidates with the province's desired profession, proof of education and registered in Express Entry (passing score of 73).

This time Saskatchewan needed members of the following professions:

On July 7, the province sent invitations to people who had previously expressed a desire to open a business there. Luck smiled on 64 candidates. The minimum passing score was 80. The maximum score in this selection was 130.

This year the province of Saskatchewan invited 227 people in the for entrepreneurs stream. The previous selection for them was on May 5, the same day as the selection for professionals. The minimum score then was higher: for entrepreneurs it was 90, for professionals — 85, for specialists from Ukraine — 71.
