Quebec held its second selection in a month
For January 2022, the province invited more than 800 candidates.
On January 27, Quebec sent out 322 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination under the provincial immigration program through the Arrima expression of interest system. Selection went through the stream for qualified professionals.
This past drawing selected applicants who received a job offer outside of Montreal and scored 647 points on the Arrima scoring system. That's 45 points higher than in the previous drawing that took place on Jan. 13.
Quebec's immigration programs are administered by the province on the basis of selection criteria and processes different from those of Canada. At the end of 2021, Quebec held immigration selections once a month, but in 2022, this is the second drawing held in January.
To increase your chances of receiving an invitation from Quebec, we recommend that you keep an eye on history of your passing scores and number of invitations.
