Quebec shared the results of the first draw in 2022
More than 500 people will be able to immigrate to the province.
On January 13, Quebec sent out 512 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination under the provincial immigration program through the Arrima expression of interest system. Selection went through the stream for qualified professionals.
Last year's drawing selected applicants who scored 602 points on the Arrima scoring system and received a job offer in one of the priority occupations:
- computer and information systems managers;
- computer engineers;
- information systems analysts and consultants;
- database analysts and data administrators;
- software developers;
- programmers and developers of interactive systems;
- web designers and -developers;
- electrical and electronic engineering technicians and technologists;
- computer network technicians;
- technical support specialists;
- information systems testing specialists;
- registered nurses;
- licensed nurse practitioners;
- nurse assistants and orderlies;
- middle school teachers;
- Elementary school teachers and educators;
- Early childhood educators;
- producers, directors, choreographers and related professions;
- printing production techniques;
- Graphic designers and illustrators;
- Specialists in wholesale sales.
Quebec's immigration programs are managed by the province on the basis of selection criteria and processes different from Canada's immigration programs.
