British Columbia made a small selection
The passing grades were high.
On January 11, British Columbia issued 232 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination. The selection was made through the provincial immigration program.
201 candidates were selected in streams for skilled workers, Canadian graduates, and low— and intermediate-skilled professionals. The minimum passing scores were distributed as follows:
- skilled workers — 103;
- Canadian graduates — 90;
- low and medium skilled workers — 78;
- skilled workers with selection through Express Entry — 110;
- Canadian graduates with selection through Express Entry — 92.
B.C. made a separate selection for candidates with the following occupations:
Specialists in these fields received 31 invitations. The minimum passing score for all categories was 110.
