Quebec shared the results of the last selection
This time lucky engineers, medics, teachers and people with creative professions.
On December 9, Quebec sent out 326 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination under the provincial immigration program through the Arrima expression of interest system. The selection went through the stream for qualified professionals.
In the past drawing, applicants were selected who fell into one of two categories:
- candidates with provincial job offers outside of Montreal;
- candidates with professions from the list who scored 633 points in the rating system Arrima.
The professions in the selection were as follows:
- computer and information systems managers;
- construction engineers;
- mechanical engineers;
- electromechanical and -electronic engineers;
- industrial and process engineers;
- mountain engineers;
- computer engineers;
- information systems analysts and consultants;
- database analysts and data administrators;
- software developers;
- programmers and developers of interactive systems;
- web designers and -developers;
- civil engineering technologists and technicians;
- technologists and mechanical engineering technicians;
- technologists and technicians of industrial and manufacturing production;
- technologists and technicians of electrical and electronic engineering;
- computer networking technicians;
- Technical Support Specialist;
- information systems testing specialists;
- registered nurses;
- licensed nurse practitioners;
- nurse assistants and orderlies;
- secondary school teachers;
- Elementary school teachers and educators;
- Early childhood educators;
- producers, directors, choreographers and allied professionals;
- printing production techniques;
- Graphic designers and illustrators;
- Specialists in the sales department.
The previous drawing, which took place on November 11, was only for the first category of candidates and was a record low.
Quebec's immigration programs are managed by the province on the basis of selection criteria and processes different from those of Canada.
