Quebec invited health and education workers
The passing score in the new selection has increased dramatically.
On September 30, Quebec's immigration program sent 536 invitations through the Arrima expression of interest system. The selection went through the stream for qualified professionals.
The past drawing selected candidates who had a provincial job offer outside of Montreal, as well as candidates who scored at least 562 points on the Arrima scoring system and had one of the following occupations:
- registered nurses;
- licensed nurse practitioners;
- nurses and nursing assistants;
- secondary school teachers;
- elementary school teachers and educators;
- early childhood educators.
Quebec's immigration programs are managed by the province on the basis of selection criteria and processes different from those of Canada.
To maximize your chances of receiving an invitation to apply for a nomination from Quebec, we recommend keeping an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
