Quebec has invited qualified people to immigrate

For 2021, the province issued 476 invitations.

On May 27, the province of Quebec sent 90 invitations through the expression of interest system Arrima to candidates in the skilled trades program.

Criteria for the last drawing of the expression of interest in Quebec:

  • availability of a confirmed job offer;
  • having previously resided in Quebec as a diplomatic agent, consular official, representative or duly accredited official of a foreign country or of the United Nations.

Candidates who received an invitation in the past selection have 60 days to submit a complete application through Québec's skilled worker immigration program.

To immigrate to Quebec under this program, candidates must first apply for an expression of interest through the special immigration system Arrima. The Ministry of Immigration, Franchise and Integration reviews the profile bank and issues invitations to those who meet certain criteria based on labour market needs in Quebec.

Quebec's immigration programs are managed by the province on the basis of selection criteria and processes different from those of Canada.
