Prince Edward Island has again invited candidates to immigrate

Since the beginning of the year, the province has issued about 800 invitations.
On May 20, Prince Edward Island sent out 155 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination.
As part of the drawing, 17 invitations were received by candidates of the entrepreneurial stream who scored at least 80 points. This is 5 points higher than in the previous selection, which took place on 15 April.
A further 138 invitations were distributed between the two streams:
- candidates registered in Express Entry and invited to submit an initial application;
- candidates with the skills and experience needed in the provincial labour market — this stream includes three streams:
- skilled professionals who currently work for the Prince Edward Island employer;
- intermediate and low-skilled workers who are currently employed in Prince Edward Island;
- graduates who have graduated from a Prince Edward Island institution of higher learning and are now working in the province.
The province did not provide a breakdown of the number of candidates invited between all streams, nor the minimum score required for each category.
To maximize your chances of receiving an invitation to apply for a nomination, we recommend keeping an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
