Quebec has shared the results of an immigration draw

Dozens of candidates received invitations.

On April 29, the province of Quebec issued 83 invitations through the Arrima expression of interest system to skilled workers.

Criteria for the last drawing of the expression of interest in Quebec:

  • availability of a confirmed job offer;
  • having previously resided in Quebec as a diplomatic agent, consular official, representative or duly accredited official of a foreign country or of the United Nations.

Candidates who received an invitation in the past selection have 60 days to submit a complete application through Québec's skilled worker immigration program.

To immigrate to Quebec under the Skilled Trades program, candidates must first apply for an expression of interest through Arrima, a special immigration system. The Ministry of Immigration, Franchise and Integration reviews the profile bank and issues invitations to those who meet certain criteria based on labour market needs in Quebec.

Quebec's immigration programs are managed by the province on the basis of selection criteria and processes different from those of Canada.
