Prince Edward Island held an immigration screening

The province shared the results of the past drawing.

On April 15, Prince Edward Island sent 156 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination.

As part of the drawing, 16 invitations were received by candidates of entrepreneurial stream who scored at least 75 points. As well as 140 candidates in the streams for those registered in Express Entry and received an invitation to submit an initial application, and those with the skills and experience needed in the provincial labour market.

The last stream includes the following directions:

  • skilled professionals who currently work for the Prince Edward Island employer;
  • foreigners who are currently working for a Prince Edward Island employer in a C or D NOC classification;
  • graduates who have graduated from an accredited Prince Edward Island institution of higher education and are now working in the province.

The province did not provide a breakdown of the number of candidates invited between all streams, nor the minimum score required for each category.

To maximize your chances of receiving an invitation to apply for a nomination, we recommend keeping an eye on history of passing scores and number of invitations.
