Quebec has opened applications for a new immigration pilot
Other provincial immigration programs will soon be launched.
On March 24, applications for one of three new immigration pilots for the province of Quebec began. Candidates who work temporarily in Quebec in the food industry can immigrate.
The immigration pilot is valid for 5 years — until January 1, 2026. In 2021, the application process is open from March 24 to October 31. Selection will be through the Arrima system. Quebec intends to invite 550 candidates per year, as well as their family members.

Two more Quebec pilot programs will be launched soon:
- for paramedics — as of March 31;
- for artificial intelligence, IT and visual effects professionals — starting April 22.
