Immigration to Newfoundland and Labrador through the Express Entry Skilled Worker stream
Skilled professionals who have found work in the province can immigrate through the Express Entry Skilled Worker stream.
The Express Entry Skilled Worker stream of the Newfoundland and Labrador provincial program allows candidates who have a job offer in the province to get a permanent residency.
Eligibility
To apply for the Express Entry Skilled Worker stream, you must meet the following requirements:
- have an Express Entry profile and meet the minimum criteria for one of the federal immigration programs:
- have a post-secondary education diploma;
- get a job offer in Newfoundland and Labrador for a TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 occupation according to the National Occupational Classification (NOC);
- score a minimum of 67 out of 100 on the evaluation grid (see below).
