Alpadia Language School's fall and spring camps for kids and teens offer a chance to keep the fun going even after summer vacation ends. In September-October and March-April, their camps in the Swiss village of Leysin come alive with language learning and a packed schedule of activities.

Students can practice French or English in a natural setting while enjoying sports, cultural events, and excursions in Switzerland. If you want your child to have a fun and productive fall or spring break, Alpadia's offer is perfect for you!

Alpadia Language School offers 1— to 4-week camps for children and teens aged 8 to 17. Camps are available in both English and French.

The camp is located in the small Swiss town of Leysin. This popular tourist destination is just 30 minutes from the famous Lake Geneva and surrounded by the Swiss Alps. It offers a wide range of sports and leisure activities and has been awarded the prestigious Swiss "Family Destination" label, guaranteeing high standards of quality and safety for children and teenagers.

The camp offers:

Campers stay at the Le Central-Résidence hotel complex, which is within walking distance of the town's train station. The complex has a restaurant, sun terrace, indoor pool, and many play areas.

Besides learning English or French, kids will enjoy an exciting program of activities and events. These include trips and shopping in nearby Lausanne and Montreux, visits to the Maison Cailler chocolate factory, the village of Gruyère, a water park, and much more.

The camp follows a structured daily schedule to help campers make the most of their time:

07:00 — 08:00 Breakfast
08:30 — 12:30 Language lessons
12:30 — 13:30 Lunch
14:00 — 18:00 Excursions, activities, or premium classes
18:30 — 19:30 Dinner
20:00 — 22:00 Evening activities: discos, movie nights, barbecues, etc.
22:30 Lights out

Language Classes

Alpadia offers two options for both English and French:

  • Standard 20: 20 lessons of 45 minutes / 15 hours per week
  • Intensive 25: 25 lessons of 45 minutes / 18.75 hours per week

The curriculum is designed specifically for young learners. Classes are held in a friendly, supportive environment. Students will learn essential language skills and participate in group projects that develop creativity, time management, and leadership skills.

Classes are grouped by language level, from complete beginners to advanced learners.

All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and depend on the chosen lesson package and number of weeks:

The price includes accommodation with three meals a day, 24/7 supervision, lessons and learning materials, a placement test, a language certificate, a student card, pocket money service, and a package of activities and excursions.

There's a separate 125 CHF registration fee.

Optional extras include:

  • Active sports — 225 CHF per week (spring session only)
  • Horse riding — 225 CHF per week
  • Tennis — 225 CHF per week
  • Cooking classes — 135 CHF per week (fall session only)
  • 5 extra private lessons (45 minutes each) — 310 CHF per week (available only with Standard package)
