Online English course with native speakers. Learning experience at the Canadian school ILAC

"It's challenging, but incredibly fascinating."

A sufficient level of English is one of the most important factors for immigrating to Canada or enrolling in a Canadian university. We offer courses at the Canadian language school ILAC. The school conducts classes in Canada both online and in-person.

For immigration, ILAC offers a way to quickly improve your English through an intensive program and experienced teachers. If you're considering studying at a Canadian university, after completing ILAC courses, you can enroll in dozens of universities and colleges without taking a language test.

We met with our client Julia in Canada, who enrolled in a Canadian college after studying English online at ILAC for 20 weeks. This was actually a gift from Georgian College, where she was accepted. Julia told us about her learning experience.

"ILAC was a bright spot in all my preparation," Julia says about her learning experience.

ILAC classes run 5 days a week for 3 hours. You need to set aside extra time for homework, which can be substantial. Our client had to balance her studies with work and family, she has two children.

"It was challenging, but very interesting," Julia recalls.

ILAC classes are taught by experienced and certified teachers, and the school is known for its quality education. The group included students from all over the world, which especially inspired Julia. Moving to Canada wasn't easy for our client; she was initially denied a student visa. But ILAC classes motivated her to continue on this path.

"The courses also influenced my decision to apply a second time," Julia explains. "Because I saw what kind of people want to go there, what their goals are, and how diverse they are. They all have goals, their eyes are shining, they all want to go to Canada. Well, each has their own program, but they're all ready to build their future there."

During the course, students take internal school exams every two weeks. If the final exam is passed successfully, it allows you to skip the usual language test for university or college admission.

"I didn't pass the exam on the first try because it was really difficult," Julia shared. "Fortunately, it's not IELTS, so there's less stress. During the exam, you can have some notes stuck around your monitor. And if needed, it all helps."

Julia managed to pass the exam on her second attempt. To achieve this, she purchased two additional weeks of classes.

"If it doesn't work out the first time, you still need to keep trying," Julia believes.

Julia has now moved to Canada and completed her first semester at a Canadian college. We wish her success in her new country!
