Ontario held an immigration screening for those who speak French

The province held its third raffle this year.

On January 18, the province of Ontario reported on the immigration selection process for francophones. A total of 984 applicants who scored between 317 and 469 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System received invitations.

Points are awarded for education, age, work experience and so on. In addition, applicants need to have a good knowledge of English and French.

To participate in this stream, you must have an active profile in the Express Entry system and meet the requirements of one of the federal programs:

Ontario hasn't held drawings for francophone candidates in quite some time. The last one was held on September 21. However, the number of invitations sent out then was considerably lower, and the pass rate was noticeably higher.
