Prince Edward Island announces immigration screening schedule for 2024
A total of 23 drawings are scheduled.
The province's immigration office Prince Edward Island has set a schedule of draws for the entire year 2024. The region has a total of 23 draws scheduled under its own immigration system, 12 of which will take place, including a stream for entrepreneurs.
The selections will be held on the following dates:
- January: 18;
- February: 1, 15, 29;
- March: 21;
- April: 4, 18;
- May: 2, 16, 30;
- June: 20;
- July: 4, 18;
- August: 1, 15, 29;
- September: 19;
- October: 3, 17, 31;
- November: 21;
- December: 5, 19.
In 2023, such draws were almost as many — 22. 2,422 people received invitations, 64 of them from the entrepreneurial stream.
Prince Edward Island's provincial immigration program includes several streams. In addition to the business stream, there are several for employees, including for candidates registered in the Express Entry system.
There are other ways to get a permanent residence in an island province — such as the Atlantic Immigration Program.
