The Province of Ontario has held selections for masters and doctoral candidates

The first batch of invitations for October.

On October 30, the province of Ontario held two immigration draws at once — for Masters and PhD Graduates. These are the region's first drawings for the entire month — the previous time invitations were sent out on September 26.

Among candidates with a Master's degree, 1,051 people with scores of 43 points or more on the provincial evaluation system received invitations.

In the Ph.D. stream, 66 candidates were invited, with a score of at least 42 marks.

The previous selection for Masters and PhD Graduates was held September 19, then the passing scores were slightly lower: 41 for the former and 40 for the latter. Points are awarded for Canadian study experience, earning history, field of study, language skills and location of the institution.

We will continue to follow the history of Ontario selections to keep you up to date on the latest invitation numbers and passing scores.
