Prince Edward Island in search of professionals in a variety of fields
Registration is open for the October International Recruitment Mission.
The government of Prince Edward Island continues to partner with local employers in need of manpower and skills. From October 18 to 24, Singapore is hosting another recruitment event where those looking to relocate to Canada for work can find a suitable offer.
The range of occupational fields in demand among Prince Edward Island employers is broad:
- healthcare (caregivers, nurses, doctors, and so on);
- trades and construction (electricians, mechanics, carpenters, plumbers, installers, painters, air conditioning and heating workers, construction helpers, roofers, and others);
- IT (web developers and programmers, cybersecurity specialists, software engineers, and others);
- elderly care workers, cooks and other relief and hospitality workers;
- trucking (drivers, dispatchers, mechanics and more);
- manufacturing (machine operators, manufacturing workers, butchers, and the like).
Registration is already open on the website. Employers will contact potential candidates to discuss job opportunities in person or online.
