Special draw Express Entry for French-speaking professionals
Another targeted selection under federal programs took place.
On September 27, we held another drawing for invitations via Express Entry among candidates with French-speking skills. The confirmed language level should be at least CLB 7, which is approximately equal to B2 level (above average).
A total of 500 applicants were selected who scored at least 472 points in the Complex Ranking System. That's still a fairly low score by the standards of the federal immigration program, though it was even lower in previous rounds for francophones: 435 under the August 2 selection and a record 375 under the July 12 draw.
Express Entry is the system used in Canada to select applicants for federal immigration programs:
Points are awarded for age, education, language skills, work experience, having a job offer in Canada, ability to adapt to the country and so on.
Express Entry is one of the fastest ways to immigrate to Canada. Contact us for help with assessing your chances of obtaining a permanent residence permit, finding the right immigration program and applying.
Only yesterday another general selection through the Express Entry system took place, and by the end of the week a draw for invitations among candidates in the agri-food sector is expected.
We will continue to follow the history of the Express Entry selections and keep you updated with the most up-to-date information about the passing marks and number of invitations.
