Prince Edward Island once again had a different draw than usual
For one category of applicants, passing scores appeared.
On August 17, the draw under the provincial immigration program was held in Prince Edward Island. Invitations were extended to 142 applicants among workers of various qualifications and entrepreneurs.
4 invitations were given to entrepreneurs who scored a minimum of 102 points in the scoring system.
Another 138 invitations were distributed among the following categories:
- PEI Express Entry;
- Labour Impact:
This time, critical workers needed to score 50 points or more under the provincial scoring system. This is the second such draw; in the past, only entrepreneurs needed passing scores.
The region held the previous such selection on July 20. On August 3, a targeted drawing was held, in which entrepreneurs did not participate, and invitations were sent only to specialists in certain occupations.
