Manitoba is ready to grant permanent residency to Ukrainians

The province made another selection specifically for these citizens.

On June 26, Manitoba conducted a draw for Ukrainians who applied for immigration under the provincial program.

49 people who met certain criteria received invitations:

  • be a citizen of Ukraine;
  • pass the language test with a score of CLB 4 or higher;
  • have a connection to Manitoba (recommendations from a community, relatives, previous work or study in the province);
  • meet the demands of the skilled workers overseas stream.

The previous selection for Ukrainians was held on May 25, with fewer invitations. Also, Manitoba regularly holds general draws for all candidates. The last such selection was held on June 15.
